Location |
| A wonderful location for Skiing in the Winter or walking and bike riding in the summer. St. Wolfgang is less than 5 minutes from the Chalet with stunning views, boat trips and shops. Strobl is among the most famous holiday resorts in the Salzkammergut region and features almost all kinds of sports and leisure time facilities. The Postalm area (1,200-2,000m altitude) near Strobl is the largest mountain plateau in Austria (40 kmē). In summer one can go on extensive hiking tours, in winter the ski center has 8 lifts, numerous downhill slopes and Nordic ski tracks at all levels of difficulty. Local Alpine golf courses are some of the most beautiful in the Alps. There is also balloon rides, paragliding, glider rides, motor biking, horse riding, fishing, swimming, sailing and mountain biking to be enjoyed in the summer, and snowboarding, snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, ice climbing, ice diving, zorbing, snow biking etc in the winter. |
